Actually it doesn't say it all. You cannot induce amnesia and why would you want to? Also what has this to do with a Health Care career.

Sorry it does not work that way, and to be honest there is no way to even control what you may or may not forget. I had it somewhat after a serious head injury in a car wreck. You look at photos and know it happened since you see yourself in the photo, but nothing, but then the pain of the death of someone is still remembered, or the pain of a childhood event is all you may remember from 4th grade.
Next you can't make it happen anyway.
There is counseling, including hypnosis that can help make bad things feel better and to learn to deal with them
