If you contact them, they might know of a similar organization around where you are.

Have you tried your local salvation army or social services? In the area in which I live,we have an organization called "The Grace network" and they work with people like you that are working but need a little help. What state are you in?

And a local landlord may work with you, showing proof of job, notice of divorce or more.
Next talk to some landlords and see where they recommend locally for rent assistance
