I'm being homeschooled again this year. And I want to join track very much, but all the private schools in my area don't offer track. Will public schools allow me to register for track, even though I odn;t attend their school? Does it very from state to state? Thank you

You will have to contact the local school. ( well your parents will have to) more and more states are being required to allow, some are welcoming it, others fight it, and make it hard to do.

I guess it would vary from school to school, but if their track program doesn't go by the school name and represent the school like some places here in Georgia then I bet that you could join them.

Otherwise, please be more specific about the schools near you.

This person must be a minor, they're being home schooled and looking to joining a high school track team. Being more specific about the schools in their area would be telling the whole world exactly where they are and would not be a good idea. It's also unnecessary since fr_chuck has already given a good answer, they should be contacting the schools themselves (or through their parents), not telling you and the rest of the world where they are.
