I can not get my computer to connect wirelessly to my router signal. Every other device in my home can do so just fine. When I try to get my computer connected I usually get a message saying that it can not renew the IP address. I have repeatedly tried to solve this problem by manually releasing and renewing the IP address through the command prompt, but this does not solve the problem. What else can I try?

Make sure your network isn't configured with a static IP.

Yup, tried that too, but thanks for the suggestion. Any other ideas perhaps?
