Looking for answers on how to go about starting a cottage school with only a few students while I home school my son.

Here is one place for ideas. One way is to attach your school to others. Pool resources for insurance etc and also to gain accedidation/legitamacy.

Remember too that it may also take permits from local health departments etc to pass laws set for access for persons with disabilities.

Hello, the question comes from "Mrs" Fr Chuck,
We are looking at starting small school along with our church.
The local school districts are required to assist with programs for the Disabled students.
We see that there is no requirement for accediation by the state, and even not to be by an independent group.
It would be a 501C non profit and associated with a church
** or could be anyway.

I wish I lived closer -- I'd help! Do you need another teacher or aide? If so, what credentials would you ask for?
