When I was a child, we had this small part of this cartoon recorded on VHS, that I now think was animated and drawn in a very japanese style. The story went like this: there was this rabbit family (the rabbits were very much like humans, possibly with clothes) or 3 rabbits, 1 older and 2 children.

1 of the children got upset about something and ran away from the others, and then some time later somehow got trapped on a rock or something like that surrounded by stormy ocean waves or possibly high tide. The other were looking for him and found him and they saved him.. I know this description is very vague, but I was just a small child back then and I couldn't really understand what the rabbits were saying and I cannot remember much details.

I would really like to know the name of this cartoon/anime.

A community of friendly animals live a simple life
In a small town. The stories were centered around a little girl
Rabbit named Patty Rabbit and her family. Her neighbors
Are different animals.(bears, foxes, squirrels, raccoons etc.)

Well, you are probably looking for "The Case of the Missing Candy". It was released on VHS under the same name so you could consult eBay or wait until it hits YouTube. My brief searches are not turning up that particular episode.
