The nyc dept of taxation website has no links and any contact with the city refers me to nys who refers me back to nyc.

Keep in mind that the payments made on 1127 are not officially called a "tax," but rather a "condition of employment" and is paid directly to the city. Consequently it has nothing to do with NY State or its department of taxation, or the collection of NY City resident taxes.

Tried this number (212-232-1633) but can not reach to anyone (NOT even operator). :( Can't find number to contact NYC Dept of finance to find out status of 1127 Refund status.
