I live at 655 French St in Adrian Michigan, my husband has been hearing things,
When he goes 2 bed at night he said it feels like something is holding him down
I can't breath good here in the home, we have mold in the house
But I don't think that is our problem, any help right away would be appreciated

Call or visit your public library. There is often information about the history of homes and locations in the area. If they don't have anything, ask them where to check. Our village historical society has a file on each house and business address in our town. Check that too. The county may have information in their files.
I've been a librarian for 1,000 years and will put my money on your public library knowing if the house has any unique history.

Hi, ladylibra64!
Yes, the public library is a wonderful resource!
How long have you and your husband lived in the home, please?
Thanks!

In addition to the library, you might talk to some of the old timers in the neighborhood. Oldtimers have a wealth of knowledge about things in the neighborhood.

Wondergirl, Clough , and Devorameira All good answers.
I am concerned with the mold. It can be a serious health hazard. How extensive is it? Have you had the health dept. check it?

For my curiosity , I googled your address and it is not clear if your house is the blue one or the white one.
Not that it makes any difference , older homes such as yours can be plagued with mold problems, I would get it checked.
