I was never adopted and I lived with my bio mother. She left MA when I was one. He never paid a dime. Can I sue him for child support after all these years? My mother died in 2004 so I don't know if there ever was a support order. I am not money hungry but he refuses to give me health information and he is treating me as a mistake, fine I am to him but if I can threaten him with a law suit h=just to get info than fine
I live in Washington state and he lives in MA

No, you have no claim what so ever to file for support.

The person who was your guardian or raised you could have filed for support before you were 18.

Next he has no legal obligation to give you any information at all.

Were they married? Was there a custody dispute settled by the courts?

No, you cannot sue your father for child support. Support is to help offset the costs that the custodial parent incurs by raising the child, not money for the child(ren) to spend on themself(ves).

If there was a support order, I'm sure it has been paid in full by now - you've been a legal adult for 18 years already.

What kind of health information are you looking for? Does he give you a reason for not wanting to disclose it? It's also possible that he doesn't have any information; not everyone has a family history of health issues.
