Hi there,I'v had a lovely oil painting for some years now and I simply cannot work out the full signature,I'v tried so many different names but I just cannot work it out.I would like to research the artist,any advice would be greatly appreciate,many thanks

Gweny, you need to post a clear photo of the signature (and maybe one of the painting itself).
Do that and I'm sure if the artist has any reputation someone will recognize it. Good Luck! Jay

Gweny, the photo of the painting is not very clear, and yet it shows formal training. I have a blurry hint that is well-done.
Before I make a guess about the signature, tell me what you think the name is. Take your best guess. Jake Ambery?

Well I actually thought that it was john ambrose?? but you think jake ambery?? shall I put a not so blurry pic on so you can get a good look?
