Looking for the name of a song played in Nip Tuck. It was played in a surgery last season. It is an opera type song that is just a lady singing in a high pitched voice. I thought it was Tchaikovsky Swan Lake but it wasn't. It just goes ah ah ah ahah

Was the whole piece just "Ah" or a large section of it, then changed to something completely different? If you could tell me which episode it was, I could watch it and help you better.

Off the top of my head I remember hearing "The Flower Duet" from Lakme. You can YouTube it and see if that's the one you remember.

I listened to the Lakme that is not it. The song is opera sounding no words really it is just high pitch opera ah ah ah ahah or something like that. It is during several of the surgeries that they play this. They walk over to the cd player and start it. No singing just the ah's for the whole thing pretty much.

Okay, sorry that was not it. There are two other opera arias that I can think of that have 'ah' in them. One that is very high is The Queen of the Night's aria from The Magic Flute by Mozart, and it's a very popular aria. The other one is much less popular but the whole first section is 'ah' That one is the Bachianas Brazilieras aria by Heitor Villa-Lobos. Hopefully it's one of these, if not... I'll keep searching for you.
