I have this guy friend I've known for a while. And he has a girlfriend. I have a boyfriend. He says he's in love with his girlfriend. And I with my boyfriend, but before I got a boyfriend, he still had his girlfriend. And every time we hang out, we end up wanting to kiss and stuff. He says that he wouldn't do it for any other person. And I don't want to loose a friend over this. I have no clue what to do. I don't want to continue to cheat on my boyfriend or have him cheat on his girlfriend, even though he says it's not cheating. Please help.

If you tell him that you no longer want to do this and he stops being your friend, he's not worth it anyway.

You obviously aren't comfortable with this, and yes, it is cheating.

Talk to him. Tell him that you care about your boyfriend, and if he cares about his girlfriend, this has to stop. If he says it's not cheating, just tell him that you feel it is.

In my opinion, emotional cheating is equal to physical cheating. Evaluate your intentions.

Yes, I'm a pets expert, I'm also an underwriter, a wood worker, a mother, a wife, a daughter, a college graduate. I dated a lot as a teen, I went through a lot as a teen, I'm almost 40 years old, life experience counts for a lot.

In other words, you can have more than one expertise, so don't judge a book by it's title.

Trying to be friends is no excuse for bad behavior, and you both are cheating, and crossing the lines of good behavior.

A friend would not use a friend for selfish bad reasons so you better wake up and see him as a lousy excuse for a friend that pushing your confused brain down a bad path.

Get rid of him, and get some REAL friends, who won't take advantage of your confusion, and inexperience. Real friends support and watch your back, but he is stabbing you in YOURS, and his girlfriends.
