Hi I want to get my cartilage pierced at claires and I am afraid of it getting infected. I had my lobes done and they were fine, and I'm wondering how much it hurts.

I have my catilage piercied and it kind of hurt for me but its really fast it all depends on how you take pain and it won't get infected if you clean it everyday until it completely heels and I'd use a hoop earing not a stud cause studs can get irratating

Cartilage areas are definitely more tender. I just beg you not to get it done with a gun. Piercing needles are the appropriate way to do ANY piercing. Piercing guns just jam jewelry and spread cartilage, which makes it hurt worse and they tend to malfunction often. Also, Cartilage isn't designed to stretch.
