We are having a bathroom refinished and one of the first things was to turn off the water while some plumbing connects were made to the shower. After they were finished the water was turned back on; the toilet was also removed and remains disconnected... the toilet hole is capped. The next day, we noticed that hot water was coming from the faucet in the basement bathroom; we didn't think too much about it until we discovered that all the faucets in the house, as well as the outside faucet, were running hot... not cold. The person who originally shut off the water and did the bathroom plumbing is not due back until the project is finished... another 4 days. Any ideas as to why this is occurring... and can it wait another 4 days? Thanks!

It seems that the hot and cold lines are crossed, you need to call the plumber to come and fix it, Thanks.
