I missed 6 because pills in a row in my third week, Im on tri-cyclen 28 the first 4 days of the 6 I missed I had unprotected sex. I started spotting on the 3rd missed day, Im assuming its because I missed my pills, I didn't take any pills to make up for the forgotten ones, can I be pregnant?

Yes, you can. In fact you can get pregnant even if you don't miss ANY.

Your chances are now higher since you missed pills.

I have to ask why you're even on the pill if you're trying to conceive, because by missing 6 in a row, that's what you're doing, you're trying to conceive.

Like J said no form of birth control is 100%, but by missing 6 you have actually increased your chances of becoming pregnant.

I only missed 3 by mistake, then I wasn't sure if I should just stop taking them so I could try and regulate myself again. That's where the other 3 came in, there ones that I just didn't take because I figured I only have 5 days left till I'm suppose to get my period. Im not trying to conceive that's why Im writing on here because I have questions about what to expect. Would I be able to tell this cycle if Im pregnant or do I have to wait tilll next cycle?

If you are not trying to get pregnant you HAVE to take the pills every day, at the same time.

Excuse me? Show a little respect, or no one on this site will answer any of your questions. You do not come barging in here thinking you can run the site.

The fact is, you missed 6 pills, so there's a very good chance that you could be pregnant. You may not miss this period, because you period is now all out of whack because you missed those pills.

I would make an appointment with your doctor, tell him/her what happened, get a blood test, because if you are pregnant you shouldn't start your next pack of pills, but if you aren't than you'll want to be more responsible about taking them.

You are at a higher risk for being pregnant because you missed pills. Those are the facts and that's really all we can tell you.

Go to your doctor.
