Hi well the question that I have is about driveways that lead to a path that is not sunken, you know the ones that have the decline for a proper driveway. As there is a person acros the street that insistes that because he can park a car in the yard that it is a driveway but I am sure that if there are no double yellow lines and there is no sunken path that it is a perfectly OK place to park just like the rest of the street.

Thanks in advance Matt

IF the path is not lowered (dropped kerb) and there are no parking restrictions in place, then you may park where ever you feel.

The laws slightly different with dropped kerbs in residential areas, but it's an obstruction offence and not parking per say.
The police tend NOT to get involved as it's a mire for them.
