Last year I had a tubal after giving birth to baby #6. last week I went to the er with heavy bleeding and pain but had a negative urine test for pregnancy even though I had al the symptoms. The Np said I was just having a late period with heavy bleeding, but I am still having the same pregnancy symptoms and pain. I am also worried because I am feeling movement and my husband can place his hand on my stomach and feel it also. There was no ultrasound done to even see why I was having so much pain and I have had negative test before and was 2 or 3 months pregnant. Is there a possibility that I could be pregnant outside of my uterus because the pain and movement is always only on my left side of my abdomen and I try to ignore all of these symptoms when they occur because I don't want to look crazy. But the nausea, sleepiness, cravings, and movement still continue. What could be wrong.

It is very rare but a few women have had ectopic pregnancies that were outside the uterus. The vast majority are in the fallopian tubes but a pregnancy there would only last several weeks and can become an emergency situation.

Certainly go back and ask for an ultrasound to be done. Quite likely it has nothing to do with a pregnancy, but you obviously want to find out what is causing all this discomfort.
