There was this movie I saw a while back but I couldn't watch it to the end and didn't see the start.
However I believe Kevin Costner played in it or someone that looks like him, the movie was about High school basketball in the 70's or somewhere along those years and how a Texas high school won the championship. There was a lot of racism against the black players in the team, and everyone was shocked that three of the five starting players were black.
On their away games they would always find their hotelrooms destroyed by racists and one of the members got beat up in a public restroom for being black.
