I think that I am pregnant. I have always had pretty regular periods. However, I am late now! The first day of my last period was June 6th (today is August 13th). I have not been on birth control for over a year now and my husband and I do not use condoms (an we oopsed in the first week or 2 of June- I don't remember the date). I have taken 3 at home pregnancy tests.. all negative. However, I have been feeling nausea, fatique, cramps, body aches, little weight gain, my stomach seems bloated, headaches, my breast are more sore at night a seem bigger. I also wake up in the middle of the night and am very hungry and/or thirsty. But I have had no morning sickness.

I did start a new job a few months ago and have some stress. However, stress has never affected my period this much (maybe a week at most).

I have heard that urine pregnancy tests aren't always accurate on some women because of low hormone levels.

What I want to know is should I get a blood pregnancy test? Just a pelvic exam? Would the doctor be able to tell if I am pregnant by just a pelvic exam?

Please tell me what I should do!
Thanks!

Are you using the HPTs with first morning urine? That's pretty important.

The doc can tell pregnancy by a pelvic exam, but that is not definitive. A blood test is much more accurate.

After taking the first pregnancy test I realized it was expired. So I bought 2 more. One I took in the evening and the second I took with my first pee in the morning

Taking in the evening raises the risk of a false negative. First morning urine is most reliable.

Try taking another test with morning urine, if it is negative make an appointment with your OB/GYN for a blood test.

OK! Thank you for the advise!
