Last year one of my Christmas I received a ouija board!! Finally after 3 years of begging my parents. It is a wooden very expensive one, decorated with dragons, which I don't understand, is that something necessary. Not ro forget to mention it mad by witches!! I just can't get it to work!! I have read many posts that usually it doesn't work with only one person is that so?? My first experince with a board was at the dormitory where I was living... I made it myself, from the back of a notebook and drew the letters and number and crosses myself and it did work... however at the end I communicated with an evil spirit that spelled out my name with me telling him... so I freaked out and began shaking and crying... however there is nothing that will ever change my mind about the board... I want to prove to myself that what actually hapend few months ago was real...
Please tell me why won't my board work... and do I necessarily need another person with me

Ouija boards are harmless. Were you drinking when you tried the Ouija board?

The only evil spirit in this world is Satan and he presents himself in many forms. He is to subtle to show what he is through a Ouija board.

A ouija made by witches and decorated with dragons.
Sounds very commercial and expensive.
My suggestion is don't play with it.
I base this on hundreds of experiences I witnessed, heard of from reliable sources, and read about.
Nothing good ever seems to be the result.
Real or imagined, the Ouija is a source of trouble.
Why expose yourself or anybody to something you don't understand that is a potential source of problems?
I have studied the occult and paranormal for many years.
I will not have one in my home.
I will not be around if people insist on "playing" with one.
I suggest getting rid of it and forgetting about it.
I wish you well

Can you please answer my questions... about the dragons, should I perhaps try some place else since my house is fairly new, build about 10 years ago... how do I begin, just by asking simple questions ? I am new to this whole experience, I am strong believer in the board but I need advice on how to work with it

Leave it alone. I DO NOT believe in them. Other people do. I can only say this; if you let yourself believe in that garbage , then you can imagine anything and make it real.

Telling you how to use it would, to me, be like handing a 3 yr old a loaded gun.
I would use it by setting it on fire and roasting marshmallows.
The dragons are a decoration ,as far as I know there is no association with dragons and ouija.
You should listen to dad and the many people who tell you not to play with it.

Try using Google to find out the purpose of the dragons. From there I am sure you can figure out how to use it. My guess would be its decoration. I have used them in drunken fun and its never worked. I didn't want it to work either. I think its all up to the believer.

I understand that it is dangerous! I just want to try it few times. It is out of curiosity and because I believe that it does work. I will anyway over here it is almost midnight should be the right time. It looks like I won't find any help from anywhere, but that's fine. Well I do thank you for the warnings! :)

People have been known to disappear into the Ouija boards and when they do come out all their hair is gray and they are babbling. Maybe just an Urban Legend. I think I read somewhere, that a girl was using a Ouija board once and it flew around the room and hit her in the head. She had amnesia for a long time. I don't know if that's true or not. Probably just a story... Come back and tell us how it goes... if you can... Good Luck:eek:

Ok I do have to admit that I am a bit scared after what you told me. But I am still willing to try it out. I will write again once I try it. Thanks and good night :)

It's just a piece of wood, what did you expect?
Kitkat22

A Ouija board is a harmless piece of wood. There are no spirits or any thing else in them. Before you disagree or agree read the forum rules. We give advice and OPINIONS.

You need to READ THE RULES.
I gave an opinion. I do not believe in them .
Are the batteries in the right way?

You are not a Moderator on this forum. Therefore you cannot tell anyone not to post.
Again read the rules and try to follow them.

With all respect, try googling how to use one and I am sure you will find a lot of good tips. Here doesn't seem to be the place to find your answer. Hope that works and good luck.

[QUOTE=pamelinka91 disagrees : excuse me ? batteries ??? if you are going to joke about it and be disrespectful towards these my believes then please dont comment anymore
[/QUOTE]
Excuse me? If you're not going to read the rules (and very possibly you can't understand them), please don't be disrespectful and please don't post.
And it's beliefs, not believes. That alone says a lot about you.

You don't need another person. You just have to keep trying is all. When you're using it yourself, some times you get a slow start. What I do is, I move the planchette around the board in circles, then ask a yes or no question. Some say it's the subconscious mind that plays the role of the "spirits" - in essence, you're talking to the deeper parts of your own mind. So it may take a while for your subconscious to get what you're doing, or to participate. Just keep at it. As for the decorative dragons - just decorations. I don't think it matters what designs are on the board, it's your belief in it that makes it work. And what ever nasty messages you get - don't take them seriously. I got a couple scary messages myself, but I know it was just my subconscious messing with me. Don't worry about them.
