Hey all,

I keep getting these "private calls" on my cell phone. I would like to know if there is a device or a software that would tell me the LOCATION of call (i.e where the phone located!! ) when I do get those private calls. I don't need to know who the owner is but rather where the phone/caller is located when I do get that call...

Please guys I really need help here. Need to know of a device that will tell me the current location of the private caller. I need to know this so whenever that person calls me I can know of his location.

Please guys don't tell me about R-look ups and stuff. I don't need to know who the phone belongs to I just need to know where the phone is located at the time of the call.

Hi, waqar00!

To my knowledge, no such program exists for the recipient of private calls to find out who called, other than by possibly contacting the phone service provider of the caller. If that's not known, then it's really not possible to find out who called.

Plus, if you want to know where the actual phone is located, don't you think that would also be really hard to find out if someone was calling by using a cell phone?

Thanks!

If you were an exchange and could afford ANI (Automatic Number Identification), then yes. Caller ID is NOT ANI.

There are numbers that can report harassing calls to the exchange. The phone company can retrieve the number through ANI. To police can retrieve them from there.
