I get no electric to the contactor,I have a goodmen heat pump and a/c 3ton

I have a goodmen heat pump and a/c 3ton, I get no electric to the contactor

1st ,are you talking High voltage or low voltage? There is both

2nd,high voltage,=check breaker,turn off and back on
3rd low voltage=check for chewed or broken tstat wires running from airhandler to condenser unit

now,more info could help if this doesn`t

Amazing how many time a guy with a 'weed eater' kills the a/c by hitting the low voltage wires !
