I am remodeling a bathroom and want to move the door over about 1- 2 ft. what are the measurements for door header etc.

The header is the space between the supporting studs, full studs go alongside the supporting studs(floor to ceiling)The header is 3 inches larger than the rough opening of the new door frame.

If the new door is a 32" door with a frame (outside dimension=rough dimension)of 34 1/2" (estimated for this post),your header needs to be just over 37 1/2".(to allow for shimming)

Inside dimension for the full studs is the 37 1/2",the header is same. The supporting studs for the header are 34 1/2" rough opening, then the door frame fit's inside that opening with some shim space.

Hope this helped.
