First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.
When you leave a company the plan administrators are required to report retirement benefits due you to the SSA. When you file for SS benefits they will inform you of these retirement benefits due you. The notice should include how to contact the plan administrators to collect those benefits. If it doesn't, then ask the SSA how to contact them.

I suggest you contact the HR department at Hansen and ask how to find out about your old 401(k) plan. They should be able to give you a contact for the 401(k) plan administrator.
