Hi,

One of my close friends is having a problem.
Well, she likes this guy (they've been family friends for years, but they don't see each other often until this year) but she doesn't know if he feels anything towards her. We've suggested that she tells him that she likes him. But she didn't want to do that because she's worried that it'd scare him away.

What can she do ?
Is there anything that she can do to see if he has any feelings of "more than a friend" for her, in a err... Not too obvious way?

I have an idea... what she should do is bring up the subject of dating and see what he says. Then if he sounds like he is all for it.. then she should ask him... what does he look for in a girl.. and who he likes... etc. If that doesn't work then I don't know what will

You know there is no short cut to the truth and communication is the thing to day... she needs to ask him outright what his feelings for her are and let him know what her's are, there is no other way around it, believe me it will save them both a heart ache in the end and they can continue on with their lives...
