Hello. Looking for help identifying a pair of paintings signed Monte. One is of a woman dancing, the other of her male counterpart. These belonged to my Grandmother and I was told that they belonged to her Mother. I'm just looking for some history on them as I have not been able to locate anything online. If they are valuable, and I doubt they are, I would also like information on appraisals so I can get them insured. Thanks in advance. Would post pictures of them but did not see a link to do so...

My mother painted several paintings under the alias 'Monte". They include some Native American portraits, rennaissance period portraits, like the Man in the Golden Helmet, ships, Moses and the Ten Commandments in black and white palet-knife and portraits of some of Arizona's car dealership owner's wives, and many others. I would love to see if yours are any that my mother did. She also painted under the alias "Anne". Please email me if you might have any paintings with those names signed or know where they might be.
