I tried to answer a persons post about being suicidal and was unable so I am going to say what I had to say here.

I do understand how it feels to feel like you want to end it all. I have been there so many times before and have reached out for help and discovered with others helping it gets better.

If you are suicidal please please contact your local crisis line, your doctor, your therapist or 911. There is also a group online called Samaritans I have used them before Samaritans Home Page--> (http://www.samaritans.org/)

I will never ever help anyone commit suicide but I will listen and try to help. Please again reach out as when you have others supporting you it gets a little bit easier!

On the side of the questions there are indicators showing if there has been new activity,no new activity or closed(closed has a lock symbol on top of the other symbols)

A closed thread can not get further comments.Chances are the thread would have been closed because someone asking for suicide assistance isn't something the help desk endorses.

Also if a thread is older and the poster hasn't returned to respond to any comments made for their behalf,it gets closed.

It showed up as a new question. I was able to read the post then wrote my response and hit post. It said the topic no longer existed.
Thank you for your response. I just felt by me starting this thread it could help so that is why I did it. Hopefully the person stayed to read it and did call someone.

Depending on the content of the post if may have been removed by the mods.

Sometimes that happens,and its for a good reason.
