I have a Desktop which has 3.00gb RAM ( 2.75gb usable, whatever that means).
I also have Win 7 Ult with both 32 & 64Bit OS discs.
Which OS is better to use 32 or 64Bit?
All help appreciated.

It depends on your hardware, mostly the processor. Is it a 64-bit processor?

Thanks all for your replies.
I have a 64Bit processor but am running in 32Bit mode at present without problems.
I can run 32Bit or 64Bit OK but there are still applications which are not 64Bit compatible and I don't know whether they ever will be. One example of this is Flashplayer.

You're right about Flash: Flash Player on 64-bit operating systems (http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/000/6b3af6c9.html)

That isn't a problem. You just need to run a different browser under 32 bit. Not a big deal at all.

32bit apps will run fine in a 64 bit OS. I run Win 7 64 bit on my 64 bit hardware.

Using 64-bit is according to your usage of system... cause 64-bit supports for certain applications as default... 0.75 will be used for visual and as for runnig the default process scheduled by os...
