View Full Version : What is this?

For three years now, I have suffered from fainting and a bunch of other symptoms. I am seeing a neurologist, and I have done an EEG and an EKG, which both came back normal.
Symptoms: A minor headache, a minor stomach ache, dizziness, shaking, muscle tension, limp movements, which all lead to fainting. It feels like the world around me is slow, so I walk very fast, or it seems like it.
These symptoms occur anytime of day no matter what I'm doing. I will be fine on week, and a day later I will be hanging up clothes and every symptom happens except fainting. I feel way worse if I am outside for awhile in the heat.
Sometimes I can stop the symptoms before anything bad happens, by eating, putting my head below my knees, and by drinking lots of fluids.
Today nothing helped. I was at an outdoor event, felt the symptoms, ate, drank some water, and did what I thought helped, which was nothing, thankfully my symptoms went away without fainting.
Does anyone know what this is? I love the outdoors, but with these "attacks" I have, it's really hard to do things in the summer, or anytime.
Anything will help,
Thank you.

I think you need a second opionion. Possibly more tests. Sorry that I'm not much help, but we can't diagnose you here. So, if I were you, I would get a second opinion.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Enignma1999 gave you great advice. If your symptoms are that serious you need to see a different doctor for another opinion. Sometimes a new doctor is able to pick up on something that another doctor misses.
