As many of you are attempting to lighten I will remind you that using sun protection or sunblock is probably the most important part. Last year I was constantly avoiding the sun so that I didn't repigment and it worked because I got results faster but this year I went traveling and boy did I darken quite a bit. I was upset with myself for weeks but I couldn't pass up traveling to the islands with my girlfriends :) many of them wanted to get a tan lol

Anyway I am back to using sunblock and avoiding the sun when possible. I hope you guys remember that the sun is not our friend when we are trying to lighten lol

I agree, sun protection is a MUST or why even bother?
Going without will only slow your stop your progress altogether.
Kind of ironic you speaking of the sun "not being our friend" and your screen name is MySunShine:)

Lol Good point... I want to like the sun, but hate what it can do to my skin :(

MySunshine,

Good reminder!! I don't go anywhere without my sunscreen and a lot of sun avoidance.
What sun protection are you using?

I am using neutrogena dry-touch sunblock SPF-70. Its expensive but works really well and doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy.
