I dated a girl for about 6 months then we broke up because her dad said she wasn't mature enough so now we are really good friends and tell each other everything its basically a relationship but she said she was ready for one again and I asked her out she said yes bla blah blah the day after she said that she felt like she still didn't feel ready and then said she would tell me when but wanted me to date other girls I don't want to I want her back and she also said that she wanted to not have a burden of a relationship and be free what do I do?

Honestly I don't think she likes you enough to be in a serious relationship with you.

Giggles before we answer any questions if we think there are teenagers involved we wait before we give them advice.

we both 14

Fourteen is much to young to be in a relationship. If her parents don't approve... leave her alone. I'm sure the relationship was hand holding and texting. Wait till you are at least 15 to get into dating.

Op you are rather young too be in a relationship with anyone, I suspect your g/f parents have said they dont want her seeing you again, and being a respectful Daughter shes obeying them, leave it wait until youre both 16 then if you still feel the same ask her out then.

Youre both under the control of your parents until youre at least 18, and yes life sucks at 14, if youre sincere and ask again when shes old enough you might find things are easier. Dont encourage her to disobey her parents though thatll get you no where fast.

Dont you have football practice at 14 anymore.

Gooood point, apologize for that

It's okay. The reason we ask is because some of the teens who ask questions are too young to be given any kind of advice that might harm them.:)

Her Dad's right.

You have lots of time. Get some sex-ed info if you aren't already.

Having good friends right now is what's important. Keep your hormones in check until you are of age & ready to be responsible. Don't rush.

Nothing wrong with having girls in your life.

And yes, this isn't giggles. Admin, hello?

Its probably not her as much as it is her parents. They don't want her dating so young so that's just it, so stop pressing for a relationship, and enjoy the friendship.

You don't expect her to go against her parents do you??
