The name looks like Baird, but with no initials its kind of hard to tell who it is. As to value, I don't know how you can expect someone to give you that information from a painting on the net. If you want a valuation, it can only be done by an accredited art historian, with the painting in hand.

Hi, ltm_y2k!
Why are you needing to know what they might be worth, please? It's true that if you need some sort of official appraisal of them, that you would need to take them to an appropriate appraiser who would be qualified to give you a documented appraisal.
Concerning artist information, that's something about which we might be able to help. No guarantees but possibilities. Once a possible artist is suggested as a possibility, it might be possible to give some generalizations concerning monetary value. But, nothing official.
Thanks!

I agree it looks like the sign is Baird and that an appraisal should be done by someone who is proffetional.
As for the name Baird have you googled that name? I found one artist named charlie Baird, but it might not be a painting by him though. It looks as if he signs his entire name. He has a link called contact you might consider to send him a mail.
He was born in 1955, scotland though so if the painting is older than that it def. ain't him.
