We have a female jack russell shorty. She weighs about 8 lbs and is now 7 months. I cannot get her potty trained. We have 4 heelers and 1 other jack russell ages 12 yrs to 5 yrs and they all have been trained very easily and never have accidents in house. This little girl is a stinker, but soooo cute:) She seems to have a favorite place to poop but she will pee where ever the urge strikes her. She is very routine in the morning, poops and pees outside with the rest of them but if she is in the house she will go without warning. Would it help if I shampooed the carpets really well. I was waiting until she finished potty training but good grief we have had her since 4 months old and I can't wait anymore Yuck! Can anyone help?
