My girlfreind and I have been using a live donor for our at home inseminations. We have tried this 3 times so far with no success. I have been keeping track of my cycles to predicte when I am ovulatin. Now all four of us the donor and his wife an myself and my girlfriend are wanting to try it the old fashioned way.

While most people actively trying to become pregnant will find success in the first year, it can take some a bit longer... and that is still perfectly normal. Three cycles is not a long time to be trying... although I know it feels that way when you are wanting a child.
How are you going about your at home inseminations? Does this husband and wife already have children? What means have you used to track ovulation?
Whether the old fashioned way will work faster is anyone's guess. It depends partly on timing, partly on the condition of his sperm, partly on your uterine environment, etc..
Have the potential emotional issues that could arise from you physically being with the husband been discussed?

I agree here.. 3 months is not a long time to try and conceive.. I am a healthy 25 year old women... I conceived with my son after 2 months... and it took me almost 9 with my daughter... I tracked my ovulation with my daughter and my basal temperature and the whole 9 yards.. I made sure we didn't have sex at all the week before I ovulated so his sperm count was high... I mean I did everything down to a science and still it took me almost 9 months to conceive my second time..
