I am 40/female/80 kg/ 165 cm/ married for 11 years with two kids aged 10 and 7/diabetic patient. I go walk 6 kms in the morning and 6 kms in the evening @ 6 km per hour. Will this help me in weight reduction including my bulging abs.

Yes, 6kph is a good moderate speed. If you are walking 12km a day, you will definitely lose weight, unless you eat more to compensate.
If you have bulging abs, take a good look at your diet. Fat accumulating around your middle is often a sign that you are eating too much refined carbohydrate. Check your diet and make sure you are getting the right amount of insulin.
By the way, type 1 or type 2 diabetic?
