I agree. Further, there are places that say they offer degrees and/or certificates based upon life experiences. Generally, they cost very little money in order to obtain them. However, they don't do a person any good in the real world other than it's something to hang on a wall.

If you approach legitimate, accredited institutions offering degrees concerning religious studies, it's possible that they might have financial aid and scholarships available to qualified individuals.
