Have ceiling fan w/remote - light works fine - but when I click on fan from remote (any speed) - I hear a noise (like a click) but nothing happens - blades don't turn. It's a really heavy fan, with the light fixture above the blades!

Needs a new receiver. Contact the manufacturer for replacement parts.
