Hi, my baby started facind down from the 28th week and now I'm 30 weeks, I'm worried that this could lead to early labour, will the baby rotate again or this could be his stable position until labour and does it mean it will be preterm or he can stay there until his due time. What can I look out for if it will be preterm? Thank you.

It just means he is in position for when the time comes. It in no way means you will have him early.

My son was down from 30 weeks and had to be induced at 37 weeks (not because of this). Even then they said he had had no intention of coming any time soon so don't worry.

He may stay put or he may turn back round only to go back head down later. Many babies will be head down by 34 weeks and the majority will have turned by 36.

Try not to worry... enjoy the rest of your pregnancy!

Both my little ones were head down by 28 weeks... my son had to be induced and my daughter got here right around 37 weeks... baby being head down just means that they are in a good position for delivery... doesnt mean baby is coming any earlier
