My periods are never on time with each other. Im trying to have a baby and I don't know when my fertile times are because my periods are never the same every month. Please help me understand!

It's quite common to have periods which vary. In this case, you need to either take your temperature to see when you are ovulating. You need a special sensitive thermometer, which will come with instructions.

You should also study the signs of fertility from your cervical mucus. Most of the time, it's scant and cloudy. When you are coming into your fertile period, the texture of the mucus changes, so that it is clean and jelly like and copious. As your fertile period winds down, the mucus becomes stretchy, like egg white.

When you wipe on the toilet, take a good look at your mucus. As soon as you see the clear texture, round up your husband and drag him to bed.
