How many fixture units can run on a 4" sewer line.

It doesn't work like that. I goes by fixture units.
If you can tell me the fixtures that will be installed I can give you a count. What I can tell you that on a 4" sewer line with 1/4" slope to the foot you can install 216 fixture units. And that's a lot of fixtures.
How many and what kind? Cheers, Tom

Thanks Tom
I will have to take a look at the print. ( I'm just the office help LOL) I was asked to see if I could find an answer.. If I could have found my green book Iwould have been able to answer it without bothering you... but now that I think about it the last time I saw that book I was throwing it at the boss as he walked out the door..
Thanks for taking the time out to answer my question.. you are a sweetie.

No bother Peeksie,
That's why we're here. Get me a fixture type and count plus tell me what type of building it's going to and you can dazzle your boss with your plumbing knowledge.

you are a sweetie. Yeah! Yeah! I know!
Now all we got to do is convince all the other guys posting on The Plumbing Page.
Remember, count everything that discharges into the sewer, Including floor drains if any.
I can tell you that on a 4" sewer line with 1/4" slope to the foot you can install 216 fixture units.
Sorry if I misread the question but now you have your answer in fixture units. If you wish to how many fixture units will be used in your building look at the plans and answer my question. Cheers, Tom
