I been renting a bit of land for my horses for over 8 years with no contract. There is also 3 other people I'm speaking for who have there own plots of land all from the same lady we paid our rents to every week. She told us about a year ago the land is going to be sold but don't panic you will get a years notice to leave pull down our stables and move over 100 horses, and other animals to new homes, which we were advised would be allocated to us by the developers.
This has now changed and on the 1st feb this year we were given a maximum of 4 weeks to move off - and have not been reallocated new homes. Since then I have been campaigning against the land being used for a landfill before the development of the country park. Plus were fighting for the original time notice, to enable us to safely re home our horses and animals.and to try and get our reallocated homes for our horses.were still on the land with our horses grazing and we have been treated bad and we have had a battle of fencing being cut , gates took and horses cut we have been involving thurrock councillers and residents associations for there help police said there's nothing they can do for us . We have got 700 names on paper who support our campaign, but now we are being took to county court for tresspasing there is a lot of issues and I'm worried for our horses please advise me on what to do as we do have rights 1 of us horses owners have been there for 25 years thank you
