It's a little brain test.

The majority of people will not get 100% the first time, but keep trying until you do. It takes an average of 5 tries to get 100%

Try it, post how many times it took to get 100%.

I did it in 3, but it wasn't easy.

I have to admit, my first try I got it wrong, I read it wrong, I thought they wanted the color that the word spelled, not the actual color. I got 0%, which would mean I got 100% if my way had been right. ;)

I have encountered this a couple of times recently so I have practiced doing it.

It really isn't in 2 because I tried a lot before . I think I got 4 on the very first one.

Martin, I have to admit that I had seen the test before too. I don't know how many times I tried my actual first time. I know it was more than 3 and I'm pretty sure it was less than 50. :)

First time... got 75%

I admit I didn't read the instructions carefully :o

On the second time, got the 100%

First pass, 50... maybe it was the cohol. Maybe it was cause I didn't give a rats arse too much.

Second pass, 100...

Apparently I'm much more attentive when irritated... so feign indifference if I'm ever on my knees at the edge of your bed... my second wind seems to have more umph than the first pass.

So I'm the only one that had to do it more than twice? :eek:

Actually, don't tell me, apparently I'm not smart enough to understand anyway. :p

Those averages don't really mean a thing Alty. My teacher taught us that there are multiple forms of intelligence. Very, very, very few people have all of them. The majority have some of these intelligences.

For example, it is possible that one is very good at math, and really really bad in arts...

Or one is really good in writing, but is completely unable to talk properly!
Or... one is good in both math and writing... and very bad in music... etc.

You have your strong and weak points, I have mine, but that doesn't really matter :)

I'm not worried. I'm not a genius, but I can tie my own shoes and feed myself, so I'm good. ;)

This test is more to keep you brain focused, it's not really a test of intelligence. :)

I got 75% the first time too!
I got 100% on the second try... it was really hard though, I could feel my brain thinking, I didn't like it :D

When I'm on a computer that can display those sort of things, I'd like to give it a try!

Might not be too long to wait though, because a friend is putting together a new/old computer for me!

I make myself laugh. That's got to be worth something in this world.

I got 100% first time. I know I've seen stuff at least similar to it before, but I don't remember exactly how it worked so that didn't help per se. But I think what it did is make me read the instructions very carefully. I even re-read them to make sure I knew what it was I was supposed to do.

It's still hard though. I got some of them easily, but some were just a split hair away from time out. But it got easier as I went cause I got into the right mindset. I do know it the past it's taken me two or three tries to do something like that.

I do play a lot of computer games and I think this helps my reflexes, and I think it has more to do with that and your attention span, concentration, ability to stay focused, etc. (And Unky is very right that everyone is different. After all, I'm still stuck on the stinkin' number sequence. LOL.)

Speaking of computer games. This always kind of amuses me. I had to take a "field of vision" test - meaning my peripheral vision. You stare straight ahead to this center light. Then lights go off all over the place - some darker, some brighter, some small, or big, some close to the center, some way out to the edges. Some come in fast and then there are lulls which make you paranoid you're just missing them all. And you have this little button thing in your hand and press it when you think you see a light anywhere.

So right smack in the middle of this thing I'm like, "This is just like fighting the tie fighters in the Star Wars game!" I almost started laughing out loud right in the middle of the thing. (Probably missed a few lights.) So when the doc calls me about the results, she said I did great and that I had the peripheral vision of an 18 year old.

That's cause the 18 year old's are playing Star Wars. :D
