I am 14 years old and I am taking Whey Protein Twice a Day. I used to be very overweight and I lost over 70 pounds from dedication alone.I used to weigh 210 LB'S but Now I am 154LB'S also now I lift weights, and I just started Taking this Portien Powder about 4 or 5 weeks ago. Is there anything bad to it? It says DO NOT TAKE IF UNDER THE AGE OF 18. And I am still developing and growing. I am 5'10 Tall and weigh 154- also I'm 14 years old

If it is plain whey or casein powder, you should be fine. Check to make sure there are no special ingredients that might cause problems. A lot of manufactures put warnings about under 18s, and pregnant and lactating women, just to avoid the possibility of law suits. Most of the protein powders used by athletes and bodybuilders are very similar to the formula given to babies!

The best way to take whey is a shake immediately after lifting weights. Eat real food the rest of the time. Casein is good as a quick supper, as it is slow to digest.
