You should ask your mom or dad to take you to your doctor to help you devise a weight management plan.

Some things you could be doing at home is eating healthy, staying away from fast food or fried food, give up all junk food, pop and try to stick with water, exercising like bike riding, swimming walking, running, playing sports, staying active. Are there any sports that you are interested in?

Remember the key is not to stop eating, but be mindful of what you are eating. Always start your day with a healthy breakfast like egg whites and a slice oh whole wheat toast, you can snack of fruits like apples and water melon through out the day. Have a nice light lunch like a salad and some almonds, fresh veggies. Celery is a great calorie burner and very low fat. You could even take a table spoon of peanut butter and spread that on a few of the celery sticks. Supper can be grilled fish or chicken with salad and a small portion of carbs.

Try to stay away from pasta and breads and butter and red meat. A grilled hamburger would be okay, but try to skip on the bacon and mayo.

You can stay full by snacking all day with low cal and fat free snacks.

Good luck. :)

Ask your doctor for their advise. Do NOT stop eating your body will slow down your metabolism to avoid burning calories because it will think it must store fat in case it does not get anymore food. Write down what you eat before you eat it. As your lost gets longer through the day, you may think twice about eating what is in your hand. Try to limit the foods that come packaged in plastic packages. This time of year do FRUIT ! It is cheap, available, healthy, filling and tasty sweeter than you remember.[/I]

I have some very good advice for you. First, the only person who can tell if YOU are over weight is your doctor. I thought I was fat but, my doctor said I did have some extra weight but I wasn't by any means fat. And second don't try to lose weight at your age, just try to keep it where it is.

Talk to your doctor who can direct you to a nutritionist they will help you learn how to make better food choices and also what types of exercises are best for you. You are still young and as you grow you probably will lean out start doing some walking and jump rope cut out excessive sweets and eat less fried foods with more fruits and veggies. Its OK to have those things sometimes but don't over do it. Above all don't obsess about it and try to be on a super strict diet that can lead you down the wrong road also talk to your parents about it they can help you as well good luck.
