I inherited a vintage lithograph by Sir Joshua Reynolds entitled "Heads of Angels". It is the sepia version and it is large. It is in the original frame and I would estimate it was purchased by my Great Great Great Uncle back during the Victorian Era, Pre 1900. I have seen one other of these and it is hanging in the Biltmore House in Asheville, NC in a stairway coming up from the lower floor into the game/smoking room of Mr. Vanderbilt.
This is the real deal. It is not a modern reproduction. My Great Great Aunt gave it to my mother just before she passed away. It was her father's. It is in very good condition as it is still in the what I believe to be the original frame and is behind the original glass. The print hung in our Antebellum home in the south when I was a boy. It is now in my master bed room. I have not been able to find where one has sold. Only reproductions appear to be available on the internet for pricing information.
Thanks
Jim
