I am a seller on eBay and recently I was harassed by this guy selling football memorabillia. I had an item he was interested in but rather than wait for the item to draw to a close and bid he talked me into ending my listing early.
Stupid enough I ended the listing only to be insulted for sending the wrong item to him. I offered to pay for him to return the item and in return I would send the correct item he wanted. When it all got sorted he left me bad feedback calling me a really horrible name and if that wasn't enough he reported me to eBay for selling an item which he believs was a personal vendetta towards him. Ebay removed all my items even the ones which were selling without any notice. And the guy... well, he gets away scott free when it was him harassing me to the point where he was actually making me feel quite uncomfortable. Getting me to end a listing early and sending me nasty messages in my inbox. Nothing Nice_ about this Mr_ Guy. He's a total airhead and people like this should be removed. He gave me the creeps and something just wasn't right with him.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated thanks = )

I don't think this is an ethics issue so its been moved here. I believe E-Bay has a dispute resolution process for instances such as this. I would contact them.

Scott is right. eBay has their own resolution process. I had to go through that when a seller reported my purchase as unpaid, even though I had saved every email and notice from PayPal that the purchase was paid for. But in that process eBay suspended my account until it was cleared up. Funny thing though, I already had received the items I purchased from the seller!

I thought eBay had changed some of their policies about feedback. Apparently not.
Good luck.
