I have two hallways about 30 ft in length, one headed north and south. The other east and west. My question is how can I merge these two hallways. I have the east and west leaving the living room and headed west runs into a wall. The other one that runs north and south merges with this one and ends at a bedroom. I also want to know if it is possible to merge them in a way that they meet in a arrow direction not sure what u might call it. See I am installing Laminate Flooring and I am curious if it is possible. Or should I just run the west one to the wall and install a T molding where they meet and run with it.

Thank you
Tony

A professional "floor man" did mine, same situation, and he used a floor molding (maybe it's called a T molding) because he said I would be unhappy with a uncovered cut there.

I don't know if that's the only way to do it but I'm happy with it.

You could cut an arrow pattern BUT, you will also remove the locking strips and then there won't be anything to lock the floor together. Use a T strip like JKT says. Simple and cheap, we do it all the time.
