Hi Rb76...
You don't just vent the toilet... all fixtures must be vented in some manner or another. In some states all fixtures must have a separate vent associated with them and in other states you can use a lavatory vent to vent all the fixtures... called wet venting.
Vents can connect together and can connect into a 2" or larger vent upstairs at a minimum of about 42" off the finish floor.
Are you planning on installing all the pipes underground or are you thinking about installing a pump system?
Let me know.
I'm off to work now, will be back later today...

Hi Rb..
If you are installing a macerator type of upflush system... something like a saniplus then you can connect the toilet vent, the lavatory vent and the tub/shower vent AND THE PUMP VENT all together and run it upstairs to connect into a 2" or larger vent at 42" or higher off the finish floor.

If you are talking about installing a sewage ejector upflush system then the sewage ejector will need to have its own separate vent go up and through the roof. Then the plumbing vents will connect and can run upstairs to connect to the 2" or larger vent as mentioned earlier.

What kind of upflush system are you considering? Let me know more..
