I'm trying to find a movie I watched as a kid (in the 80's) about two girls who were aliens and their hair changed color - from blond to white I think. I really don't remember much else, but they weren't evil aliens or anything. Does anyone know what movie this may have been?

I have been trying to find this movie also cause I think my daughter would love it! It was about two alien children who crashed, and they had a little pet alien that barked and turned into a ball I think. Their hair changed colors throughout the movie, and they befriended a little girl (possibly a boy also). I remember at some point near the end they were at a fair... the movie was centered around a "farming type" community... drat!
