I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a half. In the beginning when we got in a fight and I told him we should break up he would say things like, he didn't care if I want to leave then leave, no girl is that important that he's going to beg her to stay... not even his mother. Now whenever we fight and I'm like THIS TIME we really need to go our separate ways cause our relationship is crazy and out of control. All we do is argue about non-sense. Then he tells me that I'm not going anywhere, I'm his and regardless of what I like to think we're going to be together forever. I know it's not me but IS THIS CRAZY OR WHAT?

Sounds pretty crazy. If you are unhappy with the situation, ask yourself, "Don't I deserve better than this?" If you answer is yes move on but not necessarily to another boyfriend, perhaps its time to take your life in a new dirrection and look for ways to take control and get your life to a point where you feel good about yourself and the dirrection your life is headed.
Your life is what you make it.
Best wishes,

It does sound kind of crazy, but I think we all have been in relationships that are not exactly up to standard according to Dr. Phil. Maybe that is your boyfriend's way of communicating because he doesn't know of any other way. Has he show signs of abuse? If he hasn't maybe he just really loves and wants to be with you forever. I do believe that you should consider couples therapy.

He sounds emotionally immature, and also potentially controlling... a red flag. "You're his and regardless of what you think you're going to be with him forever?" Doesn't sound too promising, or rational; better give this some time and space. Both of you need a time-out.

I do agree with that no one is worth begging to stay. But if the relationship is bringing you down leave him
No one owns you remember that.
